About the artist
Laura Height (Broeckert) is a conceptual, fashion, and portrait photographer who incorporates the urban lifestyle in her work with a glimpse of the rural sides of town. Height leans toward the more editorial side of the spectrum to express her passion for journalism and visual photographs. In her work, she incorporates a diverse group of people from different backgrounds, ethnicities, and races so that the viewer looking into her work sees a part of themselves too. Height creates visual representations based on a word, phrase, or personal experience while incorporating the importance of atmosphere, props, and style into her work. In Height’s work, you’ll encounter consistency in neutral tones as it’s a representation of her personal style with a twist of color. The consistency in her work is also expressed in her studio space, social platform, and personality of her style, to shed transparency in what you’ll expect from her.
Education (5 years): Height has a B.F.A at Kennesaw State University with a degree in Art and Concentration in Photography.
Height’s Blog: Is currently under construction at the moment & will be running again with more content in 2021. “For my blog, I aspire to utilize it to share my inner thoughts and to pick the readers mind into the reality we face in life circumstances, but also to encourage who you are as an individual and that you’re not facing anything alone.”
